"First, I’d like to state Amanda & Marlene are incredible. I was assisted anytime I spoke with them.

I’ve been with State Farm over 10+ years across country.

Extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience with State Farm agent Yeni.

I had already notified the agent of my new address, yet two rental policies remained on my account for an entire month instead of being properly removed or updated.

I then asked to speak with Marlene, another agent in the same office. I was initially told Marlene was on another call. Yeni then told me she was not allowed to speak with me and that she had referred me to an entirely different State Farm office/location.

I insisted that I was not getting off the phone without something concrete. At my insistence, Yeni verbally gave me an email address, but could not provide a phone number or any clear confirmation of who the email belonged to or whether a referral had actually been submitted.

I contacted State Farm Customer Service myself, and was told that there was no referral or request on file from this agent. I was also told that the process for transferring/referring me to another agent had to go through Customer Service.

This was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. If something has not been submitted, tell the customer. If there is a required process, explain it accurately. A customer should not have to call Customer Service themselves to find out whether something they were told had been done actually was.

I expect an insurance agent to be honest, competent, accurate, responsive and accountable. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. And as of yet have not received any email that she sent or would send. Ok
